AJK President Sardar Muhammad Anwar Khan has lauded the role of young generation, which they were playing in different earthquake-affected areas of AJK and added "we must face the hardship of lives with patience and unity."

The AJK President was talking to earthquake victims in Taien, Jhulah Nara, Karachi Tangi Bhagiana and Kala Pan, of Ponch district.

The AJK President said that the youngsters have proved that in the moments of suffering we are united. We would build a new Azad Kashmir in which the youth will be given a vital role. It is a test of our solidarity willpower," he added.

He said that the forthcoming winter season was a real challenge for the victims and to handle the forthcoming situation they were organising the youth to become a part of every union council to enhance the relief activities. By this self-sport activity, he said, they need a committed and honest young leadership for bright future.

Anwar applauded the whole Pakistani nation to stand with them and giving every possible relief in their own capacity.

He thanked to the Pakistani individuals, who in their personal conveyance were reached the affected areas with relief goods and distributed it among the needy. He also paid a glowing tribute to the Pakistan army who put their lives in great risk to save the lives of people. He said that since the October 8 Pakistan army was continuously engaged in affected areas.

He expressed that though this earthquake had brought a huge destruction within itself but at the same time it also created a unity and harmony among whole nation, which was never seen earlier.

He said that it was a time to be prepared to build a new Kashmir.

The president was also distributed Eid gifts, blankets, and other necessities of life amongst widows and the earthquake victims.
